Definitely better pens the kids still my ‘nice’ ones and I’m left with the free promo pens which are actually quite good, just not that chic. Quite like the tarot card idea, I wouldn’t be able to use them, or what any of it means but how mysterious would I look??
I’ll need to update this for winter but all spring/summer I carried a book, a notebook, at least six pens, a pack of chalk for sidewalks, point & shoot camera, hand lotion, sunglasses, tarot deck, hair ties, & popcorn that fell inside from the theater!
Which one did you get? I bought my daughter a refurbished ipod about a year ago, but we have to keep this old school laptop with a really old operating system that will run itunes. I can't put anything on it from my computer. It's not ideal.
In my Tibi x LL bean tote: my beloved Louise Carmen journal, pilot G-207 pen in blue ink, my watercolor book and paint kit, two books: the creative act by Rick Rubin and the creative pragmatist by Amy Smilovic. and a basket-making kit from Underwater Weaving.
Knitting is such a good one! I was surprised that wasn’t in any of the bags of the creatives I asked! I used to knit like crazy back in university but I haven’t picked it up in almost 20 years. I’m sure I’ll come back to it one day!
Love seeing what’s in everyone’s bag!!
I love this idea of an analog bag! What a wonderful post- super creatively inspiring!
Thank you so much!
Love this! I just ordered some new pens 🖊️ and highlighters. Thanks for the recommendations! 👍🏼
book, sketchbook + drawing utensil(s) are a must for me!

I love the idea of carrying them around to look mysterious! Also some decks have the most beautiful graphics. It could be art inspiration!

A pack of chalk! Genius!
I love this! I just wrote on living more offline in 2026 and definitely adding the analog bag to my toolkit
We could all use reminders to live more offline!
I still haven't added songs to it yet but I bought myself an mp3 player in the hopes of spending less time on my phone

I bought the Hiby r1. It was recommended through a tumblr post so here's hoping it was a good purchase 🤞
I loved this! But no one carrying needlework? A piece of needlepoint or knitting is my favorite analog activity to have on hand 🪡
I was so surprised this wasn’t in anyone’s bags. It’s a classic!
brb gonna put together my own analog bag !
What’s going to be in it?!?
