On Layered Interiors: Creative Library Vol IV
A special invitation into my physical library full of images not generated by the algorithm
I almost didn’t get this out this weekend. As it is, it’s a day late. I had it all ready. Teed up to go. I just had to write an introduction. I was waiting for a moment to sit down and think about the best way to introduce this one. Something eloquent and thoughtful about vuluptuously layered interiors that look inviting, lived-in, and effortlessly collected. The time did not arrive. Then I remembered, this is a newsletter. So here is the news: It’s summer and things have already fallen a bit off the rails (but purposefully, in a good way…right?).
I have also been working on a VERY EXCITING project for what feels like months. The summer edition of the LES journal, in collaboration with South Loop Loft. A brand I deeply admire! It is fabulous (if I do say so myself) and it comes out Tuesday!

Inside My Creative Library is a special invitation into my physical library. There is something about the tactile nature of a page that forces me to slow down—to take notes, to mark pages, and to flip back and forth between an art monograph, a design catalog, and a book on jewelry. In those moments, it’s not an algorithm leading the way, but my own curiosity. And that is the magic.
